Workshop

    • Utilise one of the thinking routines (see NLPS Thinking Routine Pack – Appendix X) to encourage children to think about their thinking
    • Incorporation of the High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS) is expected when teaching all lessons
    • The teaching of Literacy and Numeracy lessons will be guided by the information and related resources found in the DET Literacy Teaching Toolkit and in the Numeracy Portal
    • Ensure that goal setting and reflection are visible by using, for example, WAGOLL walls, proficiency scales or similar
