Healthy Lunchboxes We encourage students to have a healthy lunchbox everyday because we know the importance of nutritious food and its benefits for learning. Like many other pre-schools, childcare centers and schools, Newport Lakes Primary School has a number students that suffer from anaphylaxis. A notice will go home at the beginning of each year asking families to support the school in minimizing the exposure of students at risk by not including certain food products in their lunchboxes. This notice will be different for each class, as it depends on the specific allergies of the children in their classroom.
Nude Food Day happens every Wednesday. Students are encouraged to eliminate all packaging from their lunchboxes.
Lunch Orders Every Thursday our school offers lunch orders. These are healthy lunch options made by a local business and delivered to school in time for lunch (NB: Students will still need a snack from home for recess). The menu includes; garden salad, club sandwich, fried rice, home made muffins & more. Order & pay via Qkr!
