NLPS is buzzing with excitement as we sing, dance and rehearse our 2022 production ‘Little People, Dreaming Big.’ Inspired by Maria Vegara’s biography series ‘Little People, BIG DREAMS’, this year’s production is a creative collaboration between teachers and students and showcases the exceptional talents of our NLPS students. After a few years of restrictions, we are looking forward to having each one of our NLPS students on stage and experiencing a live Arts performance.

SYNOPSIS:
Set in our unique Play POD, students discover a time machine and undertake a journey where they meet outstanding and inspiring people who have achieved incredible things. On our journey through time the students discover that the famous people they meet demonstrated resilience, responsibility, respect, compassion and were critical thinkers as they overcame challenges in their childhoods.

Focusing on inclusion and diversity, the characters we meet on our journey display excellence in Literacy, Numeracy, Art, Performing Arts, Sport, Science, Exploration (BQT), Design and Technology, aligning with the rigorous Educational Program we provide at Newport Lakes Primary school.
