School Age for Prep 2020
To be eligible for Preps 2020 your child must turn five (5) on or before April 30th 2020.
Newport Lakes Primary School Network Neighbourhood Area
All state schools have a Network Neighbourhood Area. The area is designed or calculated to place (as the crow flies)every house in an area nearest to their neighbourhood state school.
Parents are encouraged to consider their nearest local school as their first option for enrolment but may enrol their child in a school outside their neighbourhood area if the school has capacity.

School Tours
School tours will be conducted at 10.00am on the following dates:
1st May
22nd May
5th June
19th June
A prep information evening will be conducted on Thursday 9th May, 2019 at 6.30pm
Child minding will be available, bookings essential.

Enrolment Procedure
Applications for 2020 Prep enrolment can be made at any time during terms 1 and 2. Enrolment forms should be lodged before Friday June 28th ( last day of term 2).
When lodging your enrolment application the following documents must also be provided:
Proof of Age (Birth certificate or passport)
Certificate of Immunisation
3 forms of Proof of Residential Address (Utilities Account, Driver’s Licence, Rates Notice)
Please note: If the school nears its capacity, these residential documents may be used to determine selection or eligibility for enrolment in 2020.
Offers of placements will be made to parents in Term 3.
