Parents Club

The aim of our Parents’ Club is to bring the NLPS community together to enrich our children’s school experience while having some fun. We host events and raise funds for school equipment, resources for the children and charities in our community.

Parents’ Club is a committee run by parents of NLPS students. It is supported by parent volunteers working in cooperation with the principal, teachers, staff and the school council.

The aims and objectives of the Parents’ Club is to:

  • Contribute to the wellbeing of the school community through fun,
    memorable events and helping-hand programs held throughout the
    year.
  • Building connections and encouraging the participation of parents in the
    school life of the their children through a parents’ run network across
    the classes and grades.
  • Provide opportunities for parents to learn about school operations,
    general education procedures and be a parent voice when the school
    (leadership or school council) seeks parental input on issues or policies.
  • Raise funds for the benefit of the school through resources, equipment
    or supporting student run programs.

  • Weekly Fresh Fruit & Veg Platters made for the junior grades (F-2)
  • Second Hand Uniform & Bake Sales
  • Icy Pole Days in Term 1 & 4
  • Lost Property Management
  • Funding Lunchtime Art Activity Supplies
  • Coordinating New Foundation Student Play Dates
  • World Teachers Day Celebrations
  • Parent Social Nights
  • Biannual School Fete
  • Election & Family Day BBQs
  • Parent Information Nights with Child Experts
  • You can be apart of building a new event for the school!

Parents’ Club is a great way to get involved with the school community, meet other parents and give back to our wonderful school. Volunteer once off or ongoing, all contributions are greatly appreciated to build a great community
for our school. 

To get involved, join us at our monthly Parents’ Club meetings, dates can be found on Compass and iNewsletter. Please ensure you have an up to date Working With Children Check and have read the OH&S Child Safe documents which can be accessed at the Front Office.
